Michigan Admit – "First, thanks AJ and other Touchdown staff! I think MBA applicants in China should have heard of MBA admission consulting services. I have researched tons of them in Business week and ChaseDream --- many, so many. For me, AJ Warner is the best MBA coach!!! I think Touchdown gave me a invaluable advice on the MBA application experience.
I was a Round 2 MBA applicant for the Class 2009. I did the essay portion on my own and joined Touchdown's interview coaching services about three months ago. I found AJ to be a great person to work with immediately from the first day I chatted with him over phone. The first school that we went through the interview process was Michigan . Since I used different essay contend and strategies for different schools, I think AJ helped me to position my background/experience uniquely and gave me a detailed guidelines on how to stand throughout the interview process. (I was admitted to Michigan ).
I have to say when you come to the interview part, everyone would be nervous and AJ is the right person, at that right moment to give you a hand, relieves your stressful mindset and tells you the best way to go through the process. After the interview, keeping in touch with the alumni, current students, and admission committee are also crucial, as you never know whether you would be waitlisted by the school. For another Top 5 MBA program, I was put on the waitlist candidate. AJ was right there to guide me through the waitlist procedure and gave me ways to get off waitlist spot.
According to several statistics, this year's applicants have increased a lot and seemed to be much more competitive than the past few years and it is expected that the competition would be even more keen in the coming years. Finding a right MBA coach is crucial, for both technically or emotionally. Luckily, I was admitted to three of the top 10 US B-schools.
The above is just some of my personal feeling of Touchdown and AJ Warner in particular. Hope you can also join the touchdown!! I think MBA application process is a long journey. However, never give up, you will learn a lot throughout the process. I wish I had used the Touchdown services at the very beginning of my application journey." |
