How to talk with an Admissions Director? (Again)
Comments from the July 12th workshop on talking with Admissions Directors:
- It's a great workshop!
- Very vivid and practical speech! Very interesting.
- It's really an excellent event. I learn a lot from it. Never forget me if you have other events.
- Very Good! You try to make applicants be successful; makes the session very effective.
- It did offer a good help in my MBA applications. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!
- It provided us with great skills to present in front of the admissions officer.
- Very good. Very well organized. Step-by-step instruction is very helpful.
When you have the chance to meet with an Admissions Director from your dream MBA program, you need to take advantage of this great opportunity. When the Admissions Director returns back to the US , you want them to remember your name and have a positive impression of you. What you want to avoid at all costs is to do or say something inappropriate that gets you remembered for all the wrong reasons. That will “destroy” your chances of getting accepted. Unfortunately, this happens to Chinese applicants trying too hard to make a “good” impression. This insightful workshop will help you understand how to best introduce yourself and what to say or do and what to not to say or do during an MBA reception.
