When you have the chance to meet with an Admissions Director from a top MBA program, you need to take advantage of this great opportunity! You want the Admissions Director to remember your name and have a very positive impression of you...
What you don't want is to do or say something culturally inappropriate that gets you remembered for all the wrong reasons. This will destroy your chances of getting accepted! Unfortunately, this happens to Chinese applicants trying too hard to make a good impression...
This insightful workshop will help you understand how to best introduce yourself and what to say (and what to not to say) at the upcoming MBA receptions.
This workshop will be taught by Touchdown!'s Head Coach AJ Warner, who speaks often with Admissions Directors about what they are looking for in prospective Chinese MBA applicants. AJ will share his "insiders" knowledge with people who attend this event.
Comments from last year's workshop on talking with Admissions Directors:
- It's a great workshop!
- Very vivid and practical speech! Very interesting.
- It's really an excellent event. I learned a lot. Never forget me if you have other events.
- Very Good! You try to make applicants be successful; that makes the whole session very effective. You clearly send all the messages across the students. Thanks.
- It did offer a good help in my MBA applications. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!
- It provided us with great skills to present in front of the admissions officer.
- Very good. Very well organized. Step-by-step instruction is very helpful.
